About this sailing

Yes, so this back-to-back cruise deal has… some ‘repetition’ regarding ports of call, but a couple of extra days in Portugal is A.OK with us! The first half of the back-to-back trip is a gorgeous journey through the warmer waters around the Canaries and Madeira. An excellent trip on its own! But when you add on the additional 2 weeks through the Azores and Bahamas, with a low solo supplement, for a price that is only a few hundred dollars more than a direct flight from the UK to Miami, it starts to look like incredible value.

You get the best of both worlds: active, sunny island exploration followed by a deeply relaxing ocean crossing. The split-cabin strategy is highly practical. On the port-heavy Canary Islands leg, you are rarely in your room, making the cheaper Inside cabin a smart sacrifice. On the long Transatlantic leg with multiple open-sea days, the Oceanview upgrade gives you the daylight and ocean visuals needed to stay comfortable.

Solo Hosts and daily meet-ups are great for those who want a low-pressure way to make friends, although the lack of a Solo Lounge (as on some other Norwegian ships) is a bit of a shame.
