Travel should feel exciting from the moment you book.

Every Captain Jack’s Travel Trove itinerary is planned with the same philosophy: We organise it so you don’t have to.

We take care of the logistics, coordinate the experience and make sure every part of your journey fits together naturally, leaving you free to focus on the destination.

We are your hosts.

Our tours are hosted, not guided.

We’re there to keep everything running smoothly, answer questions and bring people together, while giving you the flexibility to enjoy each destination in your own way.

Every included experience is available throughout your journey. Although, you’re always welcome to explore at your own pace.

When local knowledge makes the experience even better, we work with carefully selected local guides and specialists. Their insight, stories and expertise add depth to every destination while supporting the communities we visit.

Premium Accommodation

Premium Accommodation

Centrally located premium, highly rated, comfortable hotels and accommodation. No hostels in sight!

Included in every tour.

Every departure has limited availability and carefully selected dates to ensure the experience stays personal, well-paced and enjoyable.

Our smaller groups make travel smoother, provide better access to your Travel Host, and create opportunities for more authentic local experiences.

Furthermore, travelling at the right time of year helps you experience each destination at its best.

Before You Travel

Your Booking

International flights are not included in the tour price because we want to provide you with the flexibility to use airline loyalty points, choose your preferred airline or depart from the airport that suits you best.

If you’d rather leave it to us, we’re happy to arrange your flights as part of your trip. We’ll ensure they fit seamlessly with your tour itinerary.

Every tour includes everything listed in the Inclusions section of the itinerary. This typically covers accommodation, internal transport, group meals, activities, entrance fees and hosted support throughout your journey, so you will know exactly what’s included before you book.

If the Book Now button is available on the tour page, places are still available. Simply complete your booking and pay the required deposit. Once your payment has been received, your place on the tour is secured.

Where possible, we recommend paying by credit card. Eligible purchases may benefit from Section 75 protection under the Consumer Credit Act, which can provide additional financial protection for qualifying transactions. We’ll let you know the available payment methods when you book.

We’ll confirm the relevant protection, including ATOL where applicable, before your booking is finalised, so you can book with confidence.

Deposits are non-refundable, as they are used to secure your place and cover supplier commitments. If you need to cancel after paying the balance, any refund will depend on how much notice is given and the cancellation terms of the travel suppliers involved. Full booking terms and conditions will be provided before you confirm your booking.

Food & Accommodation

All included meals are listed within the tour itinerary. Restaurants and dining venues are carefully selected closer to departure, allowing us to choose the best available options for the group at the time.

If you have any dietary requirements, allergies or accessibility needs, please let us know before you travel so we can accommodate them wherever possible.

Yes. Please let us know about any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances before your tour begins. As restaurants are selected closer to departure, we’ll take your requirements into account when making reservations and will do our best to accommodate them wherever possible.

During Your Tour

Your tour will be hosted by one of Captain Jack’s Travel Trove Crew alongside carefully selected local professionals with extensive knowledge of the destination.

Our hosts are there to keep everything organised, answer questions and ensure the trip runs smoothly, while local experts provide valuable insight into the places you visit.

Your host is responsible for the overall experience, helping to keep the itinerary running smoothly, coordinating logistics and supporting the group throughout the tour. Local guides are brought in where appropriate to provide expert knowledge, cultural insight and destination-specific experiences that only someone with local expertise can offer.

Absolutely. While our tours include a planned itinerary and hosted experiences, you’ll also have opportunities to enjoy free time independently. You’re welcome to explore at your own pace, provided it doesn’t conflict with the scheduled itinerary. We simply ask that you let your host know your plans and return in time for any organised activities or departures.

Yes. If you’d like to arrive early, stay longer or continue your journey elsewhere, we’re happy to help. We can arrange additional accommodation, flights, transfers, cruises and other travel arrangements to create a seamless trip around your tour.

We always aim to deliver the itinerary as advertised. Occasionally, minor changes may be necessary due to weather, local events, transport schedules, operational requirements or circumstances outside our control. If this happens, we’ll always seek to provide a suitable alternative while maintaining the overall quality and experience of the tour.

Protection

Our tours are intentionally kept small to create a more personal, flexible and enjoyable experience. The maximum group size for each tour is shown on the individual tour page, so you’ll always know what to expect before booking.

Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance is required for all guests before travelling. Your policy should provide appropriate cover for medical emergencies, cancellations, personal belongings and any activities included in your tour.

We recommend arranging your insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed. If you need assistance with this, please contact us.
